Legal information
These terms explain how Complaint Voice is intended to be used, how information may be handled in the app, and the limits of the service. Please read them before using the tools or sharing information with a company or third party.
Privacy policy
Complaint Voice is a consumer self-help tool for organising complaint details, preparing communications and exploring possible next steps. The app is designed to keep case information and evidence in browser storage on the device you use. Information you enter may include names, contact details, reference numbers, notes, messages and files, and may be sensitive.
Information you enter and local storage
Case details, saved contacts, drafts, preferences and supporting evidence may be stored in browser storage, including local storage or IndexedDB, depending on the feature. This information is intended to remain on your device rather than being submitted to a Complaint Voice account server. Anyone with access to your device or browser profile may be able to access locally stored information.
External links and services
Complaint Voice may provide links to company websites, public reference sources, email tools, social networks or other third-party services. When you open or use those services, the relevant provider may receive information such as your IP address, browser information, account details or any content you choose to send. Their own privacy notices and terms apply. Review the destination and the information you are sharing before submitting a complaint.
Backups, retention and deletion
Information may remain in browser storage until you remove it, clear site data, reset or remove the browser, or lose access to the device. Clearing site data may permanently delete cases and evidence. Exported backups are separate files and may contain personal information; protect them and delete them when no longer needed. Make a backup before clearing storage or moving to another device.
Security and children
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Use a device protected by a passcode, keep backups secure and avoid entering information you do not need. The service is not designed specifically for children; children should use it only with appropriate guidance from a parent or guardian.
Terms of use
Using the service
You may use Complaint Voice to record and organise consumer issues, prepare draft communications, keep supporting information together and explore possible complaint or escalation routes. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the information you enter and for reviewing any message or document before you send or use it.
Your decisions and responsibilities
Complaint Voice does not submit a complaint automatically merely because you prepare it in the app. You decide whether, when and where to contact a company or authority. Check recipients, attachments, facts, fees, deadlines and submission requirements before taking action. Do not use the service to threaten, harass, impersonate another person, submit knowingly false information or violate another person's rights.
Information and availability
Company and authority information may be incomplete, outdated or unavailable. Features, reference information and external links may change or be interrupted. Keep your own copies of important records and verify important information with the relevant official source.
No professional relationship
Using Complaint Voice does not create a lawyer-client, financial-adviser-client or other professional relationship. The service is a self-help tool and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional where that advice is needed.
Cookies & local storage
Complaint Voice uses browser capabilities to display and operate the app. Depending on the browser and enabled features, these may include local storage, IndexedDB and service-worker technology. These are not all cookies, but they can retain information between visits.
Local storage supports app features such as keeping case details, drafts, preferences and evidence available on the device. If you clear browser or site data, locally saved information may be lost. Export a backup first if you need to preserve it.
When you follow an external link or use a third-party service, that provider may use its own cookies or similar technologies under its own policies. Browser settings can be used to manage stored site data and cookies. Blocking or clearing storage may affect app functionality.
Disclaimer
Complaint Voice provides organisational tools and general self-help information. It does not provide legal representation, guarantee consumer rights in a particular case, or promise a response, refund, remedy, escalation or resolution.
Laws, rights, complaint procedures, regulators and deadlines differ by location and can change. Company and authority listings may be incomplete or out of date. Verify contact details, eligibility, fees, deadlines and submission requirements through official sources before relying on them or sharing sensitive information. Seek advice from a qualified professional when appropriate.
You remain responsible for deciding what information to submit and for the consequences of your actions. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Complaint Voice is provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee that every feature or item of reference information will always be available, complete or error-free.
